Zylok Incarnon is super bugged to the point it has to be...a bug. I hope they fix it in the near future. Currently the AoE has LoS bugs similar to Khora's first Whipclaw nerf. Body block LoS means enemies block others from being hit. It also means That the enemy you shot will block the AoE from hitting anything beside and behind them. Also, even with supposed clear LoS, the AoE can still fail to hit, usually due to inconsequential terrain. The AoE also ignores multishot.
The solution is simple. Ignore the AoE, and build for the direct shot to create our own AoE. Zylok Incarnon has the perfect blend of high raw damage, crits and status to enable a proper Gas DPS build. This lets us create a properly scaling AoE that uses multishot, hitboxes, scales with GunCO, and also can apply more than just 1 status to the main target. The enemy you shot determines how lethal the AoE gas cloud will be. Don't believe me? Well, it's all in the video.
