Four points to consider for your online presence as an academic: ORCID, google scholar, your own webpage and twitter. If you're on the job market as a postdoc or PhD student, or if you are looking to connect with other researchers, your web presence is key. Make sure you get it in order and keep it updated....you will thank yourself later. :)
