In fact, it seems hostile atheists know more about these unpopular doctrines than Christians do since atheists bring many of these Biblical doctrines up as part of their excuse why they do not believe in the God of the Bible. The average man or woman on the street wants God to be just as unholy as they are because as Jesus said in John 3:19-20, "And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved."
