In this video, I discuss the impact of the fiat financial system on our food, our farming, and our bodies.
One way that the government keeps headline inflation lower is by adjusting the CPI index for substitutions, while encouraging the populace to downgrade their lifestyle through things like substituting soy for turkey.
The fiat system encourages high time preference behavior, like consuming fast food, subsidized grains, and destroying the soil in the pursuit of short-term profits.
By contrast, a hard money Bitcoin standard encourages low time preference behavior, like eating healthy food and being a good steward of the land through regenerative ranching and agriculture.
