Destiny 2 - Infusion Guide! Upgrading Weapons & Armor
The Infusion system in Destiny 2 has garnered a lot of attention, and in many cases, a lot of ire as well. The system is overly complex and complicated, especially for players new to the franchise.
In this video I delve into the infusion system, and explain the best ways to maximize your efficiency when upgrading weapons and armor. The goal is to not only reach max power and have nice weapons and armor sets for PVE and PVP, but also to minimize the resource cost during these upgrades as well.
Whenever upgrading a weapon or armor, be sure to use a duplicate of that item if at all possible. Using a duplicate will only cost glimmer, which is by far the best way to infuse weapons and armor. The next lowest cost would be to use an exotic, but this should be done sparingly as they're exceedingly rare. Last but not least, use a legendary piece. The investment will be significant, but it's still cheaper than using a rare.
