Legend says that Pashunts are descendants of a companion of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) named Qais Abdur Rashid. He was invited to Medina by Hazrat Khalid ibn al-Walid (R.A). He was a Jew by birth and traced back his ancestry to Saul, the king of Jews. He also married the daughter of Khalid ibn al-Walid (R.A) and returned to Afghanistan. Is this a true story?
