GPTs Explained: A Personal Assistant for Everything!
This week OpenAI made another massive leap forward with the launch of GPTs at their first ever DevDay event.
GPTs will be able to help you with things such as negotiating your pay, troubleshooting your devices and so much more.
And the best part? Anyone will be able to build their own GPT even if they don’t know how to code.
You’ll even have the ability to upload your own files as data sources to enhance your GPTs knowledge and expertise.
More advanced users will also be able to take advantage of OpenAI’s Assistants API.
Once built, you can choose to publish your GPT privately for personal use, share it with known contacts, or even make it publicly available in the GPT Store.
The GPT store was another major announcement dropped by OpenAi and will be launched in the coming weeks, signalling OpenAi’s plans to become the App store for AI.
You’ll be able to access GPTs by logging in to ChatGPT and heading over to the explore tab. There you’ll be able to view a list of your own, and public GPTs. Though currently you’ll only see those made by OpenAI until the GPT store launches later this month.
Currently, a ChatGPT Plus or Enterprise account will be required to make full use of GPTs. Though OpenAI stated on their website, they do plan to make GPTs available to more users soon.
