Omurice, a beloved staple of Japanese home cooking, is a linguistic and literary mash-up of omelet and rice. It’s exactly what it sounds like: pan-fried rice cooked with a protein, often chicken, usually some vegetables, and lots and lots of ketchup. A pillowy omelet placed on the rice and promptly cuts it lengthwise with a sharp knife from tip to tip, exposing a custardy soft-cooked center that oozes out over the plate.
Though it sounds delicious, It isn't that simple to cook a pillowy omelet with custardy texture inside. So here I will show you a much simpler method to cook it.
I didn't use chicken or any meat here as I was craving for a vegetable fried rice (You can add any meat, just as you prefer) .
And I prepared eggs, just like our normal omelet.
