Biometrics Lock / Unlock Process || How to Lock and Unlock Aadhar Biometrics || Step by Step Process in Bengali
You could lock and unlock your Aadhaar biometric data using the UIDAI (Unique Identification Authority of India) website or the mAadhaar mobile app. This feature allows you to add an extra layer of security to your Aadhaar biometric information, which includes your fingerprints and iris scans.
Here are the steps to lock and unlock your Aadhaar biometric data:
*To Lock Your Aadhaar Biometric Data:*
1. Visit the official UIDAI website: https://myuidai.gov.in or direct link: https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in/
2. Click on the "Aadhaar Services" section.
3. Under the "My Aadhaar" dropdown menu, select "Lock/Unlock Biometrics."
4. You will be redirected to a page where you will be required to enter your Aadhaar number and the security code.
5. After entering the necessary details, click on "Send OTP."
6. An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to your registered mobile number.
7. Enter the OTP in the designated field and click on "Login."
8. On the next page, you will see the option to "Lock/Unlock Biometrics." Click on "Lock."
9. A confirmation message will appear, and your biometric data will be locked.
*To Unlock Your Aadhaar Biometric Data:*
1. Follow the same steps as above to reach the "Lock/Unlock Biometrics" page.
2. Enter your Aadhaar number, security code, and click on "Send OTP."
3. Enter the OTP received on your registered mobile number and click on "Login."
4. On the next page, click on "Unlock" to unlock your biometric data.
5. Your biometric data will be unlocked, and you will receive a confirmation message.
Please note that the process may have changed since my last update in September 2021. Make sure to visit the official UIDAI website or check the latest information to confirm the current process for locking and unlocking your Aadhaar biometric data. Additionally, ensure that your mobile number is linked to your Aadhaar for OTP verification.
