Today we are going to talk about a very interesting and super important Russian verb РАБОТАТЬ. It means 'to work' in Russian language.
I will explain you a really surprising etymology (origin) of this Russian verb. I remember very well when I heard this story in school in my childhood I was so surprised and I even didn't trust our Russian teacher this story is true!
During this video I will give you a list of different Russian cognates that have the same root as we have in the word РАБОТА. I will explain lots of different Verbs with many Russian prefixes that derive from РАБОТАТЬ.
