August 31 Rally
On August 31, a march took place in Moscow along the Boulevard Ring, ending with a spontaneous rally on Pushkin Square. The protesters expressed their support for inadmissible candidates for elections to the Moscow City Duma as well as for those detained at previous protests.
According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 750 people took part in the action.
After the rally on Pushkin Square, several groups of protesters went for a walk in Moscow. The processions passed along the New Arbat, the Garden Ring, and many of the central streets of the city. According to preliminary information, as a result of the rally and the procession, no one was detained.
