About this video :-
First we are going to setup our infinite backdrop for our blender lighting tutorial . We'll take a mesh plane and then in edit mode we will extrude it and then bevel the sharp edge of our backdrop . This is important for blender good lighting . If you want to improve lighting in blender then watch this full tutorial . For the subject we will take a monkey in our scene.
Point light is best for soft lighting and also it is used mostly in blender because of it's falloff. First we will setup our blender lighting tutorial with point light to explain everything about the blender lighting tutorial.
Then we will see the sunlight. Sun is used to spread uniform lighting in all over the scene. It's position doesn't matters but rotation does.
Then we will take a look at spot light. Spot light is very similar to the lights that we see in parties and concerts. This is most useful for story telling and cinematic type of blender lighting tutorial .
Area light is my favorite blender lighting for studio type of blender lighting tutorial . For example if you want to show your car. Area lights cover huge portions of light in square and rectangle shape. They are an excellent way of lighting huge scenes in blender.
The last one is HDRI lighting. An HDRI is an image with natural surrounding light. They are best to replicate light in a particular scene.
