Larkspur's Sweet 11 Day Old Chocolate Kittens
Larkspur and Miracle's two Himalayan kittens are now on Day 11 of their lives. They had an adventurous last 8 days when they went on a 6 day RV Camping Trip. They did awesome in the car both ways, even though the drive was long. Larkspur was an awesome mom the whole way. Once in the RV, they went in Larkspur's Nursing Bed that was set up on the bottom bunk. We put a towel around it so she had complete privacy with her babies. We weighted her babies every day and they gained great during the trip. We could not have been more pleased. Most of the Cattery gang went on the RV trip. We had fitted the top bunk with a cage door that allowed my pregnant mom to stay safely up there so she could not be jumping. The rest of the gang was out and about in the RV enjoying the new environment and large windows and cuddling with me at night in bed.
Larkspur's kittens are huge for their age. They are already starting to walk and are already playing. Remember, they are only on Day 11 of their lives. There eyes are all open. I know they are Chocolates but I am seeing a difference in coloring on the girl. She may be a Chocolate Tortie or even an Lilac, though Lilac I doubt. We will all just have to enjoy the color adventure.
Today, Memorial Day, we remember those who gave their blood and lives for this the USA so we could live in freedom and enjoy all the freedoms that we have. Thank you to all those brave men and women. We salute you.
