If you are working from your home and you are working by yourself as a solopreneur you could have a tendency to stretch your time. But if you have set amount of time it would be done in that amount of time. If you are working on a team, other people are waiting for you. Long breaks for coffee, water and cigarettes could eat away your time. Get realistic time frame and stick to it as closely as possible. And realize - deadlines matter! If you are working for someone else when you get a task it is not a suggestion. It is a due. Cross things off your list. Be a professional.
