How to set up the new Unity Input System
Input in unity is hard, but it doesn't have to be! The new #Unity Input System is so nice to use and quick to set up, it takes just 9 minutes from scratch! Watch me do it! Oh and I fixed my audio issues, I think... I hope...
This #tutorial / #walkthrough / quickstart will run you through how to install and configure the unity input system in a new and empty protect. We will go through setting up movement and jumping buttons on your keyboard, map them to in-game actions on your player and goof around a bit.
Once you get familiar with this system you will never want to go back to the old input manager. That input manager was antiquated from the start, it doesn't even hold a candle to the new one.
