How waiting 25 years to realize a dream is now or never...
At 16 my grandmother handed me a camcorder, but this wasn't any ordinary camcorder. It was one of the first digital camcorders, the Sony VX700.
Little did I realize then, that it would launch a lifetime pursuit of chasing the look of film.
As astonishing as MiniDV was at the time, digital still had a long ways to go in recreating the cinematic look.
Fast forward 25 years and we now have digital cinema cameras that match and often exceed the performance of film except for one thing...
