How to Break Links in Excel
How to Break Links in Excell is the sixth and final episode of the ‘Reduce Excel File Size’ series. Episode 1, “Why is my Excel File Big?”, explains how to find out what type of content is driving up the file size and this video shows you how to reduce Large Worksheets in your file.
In this video (Episode 6), we explain how #excel deals with data linked to other worksheets and the reasons why this can make your Excel file much larger. We go on to show you how to find all of the instances of linked data in your workbook and then how to safely remove links to data in order to reduce your file size, without affecting the source data in the file.
