Ring Doorbell and Echo Show 5 - Setup & Alerts
In this video I am going to show you how to setup your Echo Show 5 so it will automatically alert you when someone is at the front door. It will also show you a live video feed and let you talk to the person at the door.
The first thing you need to do is open the Alexa app.
Press more and select skills and games
Search for ring and select the ring skill
Press enable to use
Log into your ring account to enable the skill
After your account has been linked press next to search for devices. Your camera should be found.
On the main screen select devices and find you doorbell.
Press the gear icon on the top right hand corner of the screen,
From here you can select the devices that you want to alert you when someone presses the doorbell,
Turn doorbell press announcements on.
And thats it. Now test it out and enjoy!
