This is about increasing the max file upload size in the PHP.ini file without editing the file directly. Sometimes, it's hard to locate the PHP.ini file in a hosting file system. But if you have access to the cPanel these entries like max file upload size etc. can be updated via the cPanel web interface.

This max file upload size can be very important in the case of a WordPress installation. Because sometimes if you are uploading an image or a plugin to install into WordPress via the wp-admin backend, you might find yourself not being able to do so due to this max file upload size entry set to too low a number like 2mb or something like that. This could be a mistake or a default setup by the hosting company admin.

So, in that case, if you have access to the cPanel you should be able to easily access and update the PHP.ini file entry and go on about your business following the technic in this video.
