In DOORS, one can play solo or with a team of 2-4 players (up to 12 with personal elevators, exploring various rooms in a haunted hotel, and as of recent, a mineshaft. The objective of the game is to reach the end of the current floor by surviving through various rooms without losing to the entities that inhabit them. Players can also find items during their run that can be used to aid the user and their group, with different items rotating throughout each new door.
Figure is one of the main entities in DOORS, being the main antagonist of The Hotel, and the tertiary antagonist in The Mines. Figure appears in The Library, The Electrical Room (both as a boss fight), and The Shafts (as a mini-boss fight). Despite its temporary demotion in role, Figure remains the reason why the players did not escape yet and also why the players are in The Mines.
