How To Change Font Size Based On Cell Value In Excel Using Buttons
Changing font size conditionally can be tough. This is why I have created this advanced excel tutorial. So that you can easily use vba code to change font size in excel depending on the cell value.
We are about to tell excel to auto format cell's font size based on number value of the next cell using vba. Let’s learn the procedure of changing font size based on a cell value using a button.
Step 1: Click on the Developer tab (How to Add Developer Tab In Excel: • How to add developer tab in excel )
Step 2: Click On Visual Basic (Learn VBA Programming: http://bit.ly/excelvbacourse)
Step 3: Click "Insert" and then "Module"
Step 4: Write the code (Please subscribe and here goes the code: / 35461021 )
Step 5: Click On the "Run" Button
Step 6: Select the data range that needs to be changed
Step 7: Click Ok and Done
You have successfully changed the font size for a data range. Now we are going to create a button and assign excel macro to it to change font size.
Here is how you can create a button to change font size based on cell value in excel.
Step 1: Click on Insert Tab
Step 2: Click on Shapes
Step 3: Draw your Button Shape
Step 4: Name and format the Button
Step 5: Right click and Select Assign Macro
Step 6: Select the macro and done.
Your Macro button is ready. Now you can use excel vba to change font size by clicking that button.
