Test running an Elmer Wall "Water Witch" tether boat engine from 1946. It was published as a build article in Popular Mechanics magazine. Kits for this engine as well as many other were sold by Elmer Wall of Chicago, Ill starting around 1936, eventually Wall sold his engine kit business to Lancer engineering, then sometime in the 1980's Lancer sold to Coles Power models of California. Kits included a two-stroke model airplane engine, at least 3 four stroke single cylinder model boat engines, 10cc, 15cc and 30cc. A two stroke 15cc model boat engine. A twin cylinder 4 stroke and two four cylinder four stroke water cooled engines. Wall also sold a water pump kit, for the water-cooled engines and three different carburetor kits.
