Jazz piano lesson on Herbie Hancock's Cantaloupe Island. In this lesson I show you how to play Herbie's iconic piano riff, and some ideas for improvising over the chord sequence. I've listed the scales mentioned below for quick reference.
Fm7 - F blues, F dorian
Db7 - Db mixolydian, Db mixolydian #4
Dm11 - D dorian, D minor pentatonic
