Never thought of fencing while looking at a fighting game? No? Well, they're actually identical. Proof? My indie 2D fighting game which steals from olympic fencing.

With world-renowned hit characters such as "Guy" and "Musashi" (totally original names), you'll never get bored of spamming parry into fleche!

GAME NAME: Right of Way
I develop in Godot Engine 4.2, an open-source game engine. I draw my sprites in Aseprite. I code in Visual Studio Code. Finally, I fence epee. Wait, why did I make an epee character in a game called "Right of Way"...? That'll be explained in part 2!

Yeah, this is part 1. This monster of a devlog is over 230 videos and already took off 2 weeks of my life. I never want to sit in a chair again. I'll take a short break then pump out part 2: Creating the Fencing Character.
