Struts2.0 Introduction | Aether
The struts 2 framework is used to develop MVC-based web application.
The struts framework was initially created by Craig McClanahan and donated to Apache Foundation in May, 2000 and Struts 1.0 was released in June 2001.
The current stable release of Struts is Struts 2.3.16.1 in March 2, 2014.
Struts java framework is one of the most popular framework for web based applications. Java servlet, Java Beans, Resource bundles and XML etc are the Jakarta commons packages used for accomplishing the purpose. An open source implementation of MVC pattern for the development of web based application. The various features of the framework are

• Helps for development of application of any size
• Easy to design
• Scalable
• Reliable web application with java.
