In this video, I introduce the calculations needed to find the height of a building or another tall structure.

I use this video to introduce a project requiring students to create a clinometer and collaborate to find the heights of school buildings and one other building of their choice.

In this project, students learn how to calculate the height of a building by using a clinometer and a tape measure to find measurements within their reach, then they use Trigonometry to calculate the height that they are looking for.
