Man admits to stabbing and killing his wife, PD says
A man accused of stabbing and killing his wife in north Phoenix has been arrested.
Phoenix Police say officers responded at around midnight on Sept. 9 to reports of a stabbing near Cave Creek and Thunderbird Roads.
Once at the scene, the officers found a woman with a stab wound in the parking lot of a business. She was taken to a hospital where she later died. The woman was identified as 37-year-old Aliccia Grant.
Investigators say Grant's husband, 35-year-old Stephen Dennis, called 911 saying that he stabbed his wife. Dennis was arrested.
"A search of the area where the stabbing occurred was completed, and officers were able to find a knife believed to be used by Dennis," police said.
