How to 'Save or Download' WhatsApp Status Photos and Videos on Android?

Step 1: Open WhatsApp, and then tap on 'Status' tab.

Step 2: Now, go to your friends status that you want to 'Save or Download,' and then tap on it to 'View' it.

Step 3: After viewing the status, close the WhatsApp.

Step 4: Now, open 'Files' or 'File Manager' app. After that, go to your Phone's 'Internal Storage.'

Step 5: Open WhatsApp folder, and then open 'Media' folder.

Step 6: Click on 'Three Dots,' and then tap on 'Show Hidden Files.'

Note: On Some other Android phones, Interface might look different. Find the option to enable hidden files, and then enable it.

Step 7: Tap on '.Statuses' folder to open it. Now, here you see 'Photos and Videos' of various status that you viewed.

Step 8: Copy it, and paste it in 'Downloads' folder. After that go to your 'gallery' App, and you will see it in 'Downloads' folder or in 'Recents' section.

It's done.
