The feat was undertaken as part of the TV campaign for the new Nissan Qashqai, which will debut on screens in September. Intended to invoke the spirit of the model's historic TV commercials, the Nissan Qashqai bungee jump is the new world record for the highest bungee jump with a car.
Placed on a 65-meter-high basket, the Nissan Qashqai took the plunge with a professional stuntman on board, the challenge epitomizes Nissan's brand motto: Defy Ordinary!
Carried out in the Paris region by the staff of Nissan France, in collaboration with its agencies FUSE and Nissan United, and the technical teams of the BBC, this bungee jump was carried out in front of the jury of the Guinness World Records, who validated the feat as a new world record.
