We are by no means stopping work on our 1000 sq/ft mortgage free house. But...we've decided to wait a month or two and see how things pan out before spending the $7-8,000 dollars on concrete that was planned next month.

To be clear, the economy/housing market doesn't really affect our build. We're building the house for as little money out of pocket as possible, so it's not like it doesn't make financial sense moving forward. We just want to stockpile a little extra cash in these uncertain times.
