How to Add English Subtitles to Facebook Video - Step by Step
Go to Veed.io and select Upload Your Video, then Upload a File. Select your video and hit Open. Your file will then appear in the video timeline.
To change the size of your video into a square shape for Facebook, go to the Project Settings tab on the left hand side. In the drop down menu under Size, select Square. Your canvas will now automatically change shape.
To add automatic subtitles to your video, select Subtitles on the left hand toolbar, then select Auto Transcribe. Select your language, then press Start. The software will now automatically transcribe the speech in your video.
You can then change the look of your subtitles by selecting Styles at the top of the Subtitles Menu. Here you can change the font, size and colour of your text. You can also apply some style presets.
You can also translate to Subtitles to another language. Go to Translate at the top of the Subtitles menu. Make sure Translate from Original is selected, then hit Next. Select another language from the list and select Translate.
To export, go to the top right hand corner of the editor and hit Export, then export video. On the next page you can review your edit and if you are happy, hit download MP4 to download your video.
