Bates Method 101: The Long Swing
Nathan Oxenfeld demonstrates how to perform the Long Swing, a fundamental practice of the Bates Method of natural eyesight improvement.
The Long Swing can help you loosen tight muscles in and around your eyes, relax your mind and release mental strain, increase blood circulation and lymph flow, increase movement and subtle shifting of your eyes, break the habit of staring, and strengthen your memory, imagination, visualization and balance. People with all types of vision problems can benefit from practicing the Long Swing.
Improvements and flashes of clear vision can be experienced if the Long Swing is practiced 2 or 3 times a day for 5 to 6 minutes at a time.
