PLEASE READ! – (lyrics & dialogue below) A gorgeous song, and when I heard it I saw how strongly it could relate to PotO and had to create a vid for it - loads of symbolism, here’s some: “the forest” relates to the world of the opera – above (the theatre) and beneath (in Erik’s lair). “The Willow” is Erik, wise and strong, “A young man” of course is Raoul, who wishes to take Christine from her world, besotted by her beauty and voice. And though she tries to tell him that she cannot leave and does not wish to, he does not listen, with devastating results. Christine loses not only her joy and the other half of her soul (Erik), but also her life, though in her last days and moments she comes “home” to her world and in the arms of her Angel of Music again… : ‘) (Bittersweet, yes, but I could not end it completely sad as the song did. lol) Enjoy! … Sparkle clip credit Pond5 and VFX.
