PROJECT OVERTHROW Mission #5: Unconventional Warfare SOLO Gameplay (HARD) | SA Mercenaries DLC
This is the fifth mission of the Project Overthrow Mission Series from the San Andreas Mercenaries Update called 'Unconventional Warfare'. These missions are given to you by Charlie Reed as part of his Los Santos Angels team. You are assigned as the Team Leader for these missions. In this mission, you need to rescue a hostage from the clutches of Merryweather. The hostage is none other than Avi Schwartzman who is being held at gunpoint inside the NOOSE HQ Server Farm. They want him to dig up the government's files on the entire LS criminal underworld. The extraction force has been kept to a minimum to reduce our exposure. You will have the best pilot P to have you get in and out. Get in the Avenger hold and prepare by replenishing snacks & armors and grab a parachute. Once you arrive over the government facility, head to the server farm entrance, take out the Merryweather/NOOSE enemies, preferably silently and use the keypad to unlock the door to the server farm. Inside, take out enemies and you will find Avi. Head to the exit with him, the alarms will be raised at this point, and you will have to deal with their backup. Once outside, find a way to take Avi to the Avenger. Shoot down the Fuse box to open the NOOSE facility gates. Once you are inside the Avenger, Avi will then reveal how he might have leaked some stuff from Don Percival's bunker that showcased the Merryweather & government's bromance that we had helped him with earlier. This is what put him into this mess. You will then have Merryweather hostile agents coming in jets, attack choppers & boats. Get on the turrets to defend the Avenger, which has its controls jammed at the time due to the attack. To fix this the computer systems are taken offline, and P flies the Avenger manually to the LSA Lockup.
This mission can be played with 1 - 4 players.
