ChatGPT is an amazing new AI technology which can help you learn DOCSIS and troubleshooting cable, but it is still a beta AI technology and prone to errors. I failed to mention this important part in the video itself. ChatGPT is based on GPT-3, which is the third generation engine Open AI is using. This is a constantly evolving AI model.
I did find that ChatGPT gave incorrect answers to CCW (correctable code words) and UCCW (uncorrectable codewords). Just depends on the initialism / acronym you use.
What is ChatGPT and can it help you learn DOCSIS? I'll cover it in this video. I was blown away by the level of detail ChatGPT gave for responses on questions, such as "how do you troubleshoot an RF amplifier with low MER?" ChatGPT gave an amazing response! Watch the video for more.
