Where does your coffee come from? How is it grown? And who makes the worlds best Coffee Beans? We are caffeinated and going South of the Border to Oaxaca, Mexico to find out! Our destination is Finca Las Nieves, a TWO TIME Cup of Excellence winner in 2023 and 2024 for the Best Coffee in Mexico. Modern science meets the old school way: hand picking, donkeys, compost-eating worms, hydro-powered de-pulper machines... You gotta see this. Where does your coffee come from? If you're lucky, it comes from Gus's farm.
Coming later this season on Local Legends, we're doing part 2! Dean Petty is one of Gus's buyers, and he invited us up to Nova Scotia to visit his coffee roasting facility at Anchored Coffee.
