Just A Game - The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain
“Just a Game” is a track from the second album recorded by The Ukulele Orchestra of Great Britain. It was recorded in 1989, and first released on the album “Hearts Of Oak” in 1990. The album was licenced to CBS / Sony and re-released by UOGB in 2010.
The album pre-dates the current “ukulele wave” and was released after UOGB’s gigs in UK, Europe, USA and Canada. Its release immediately preceded a tour of Japan. The Orchestra members were gratified to find that Japanese audiences were “word perfect” on the lyrics of this song, and sang along at all the concerts in the tour.
