GPON Interoperability demonstration with 5 OLT vendors, works as plug and play
GPON Interoperability is hot topic. Organization like BroadbandWorldForum try to certify product via BBF.247 but adoption of these certification is not that broad yet.
In movie we present demonstration of plug and play interoperability (IoP/IoT) in GPON for tripl-play service as like multicast IPTV, Internet (PPPoE), VoIP. All works regardless of OLT licensing.
Many ISP assume it’s hard or impossible to achieve Interoperability due to the fact of vendor licensing (Insufficient ONT interoperability access license) but in fact it’s easy with Adaptive OMCI stack approach. With Adaptive OMCI stack ONT discovers OLT vendor and adapt OMCI/PLOAM communication to behave like genuine ONT. These mean that ONT can overcome even vendor licensing. Beside the GPON Interoperability ONT’s support many kind of provisioning as like: TR069, XML, DHCP, API, DOCSIS provisioning over GPON.
