This poster depicts the spectacular Operations that unfolded in June and July of 1944. Although simplified in terms of order of battle, the poster offers very unique features by mixing geography with the more general strategic situation of World War 2 Europe. The poster uses discretion in painting political borders and including features such as river names. Rather than aiming for complexity, the poster strives for beauty in being able to inspire people to learn more about Bagration and subsequent offensives like the Lvov-Sandomierz operation.
Included is a map legend that will provide adequate explanation for strategic decisions depicted on the map. The poster is meant to show the Red Army's perspective of the Operation along with key objectives and sectors of fighting. Troop counts for units involved in Bagration are also included with exception given to the Kovel-Lublin direction.
