HUGE HUMANKIND PATCH UPDATE | Game Pace Fixes, Cultures & Techs Nerfed + New Features!
Humnakind game's October patch update is coming on the 28th and Amplitude Studios, the decv team behing Humankind, have released some patch details for us! It's a huge update with a raft of game customisation features, end game condition changes, better in-game integration with G2G personas and mod.io, and a number of significant tweaks to culture balance, late game technology cost, and the neolithic era to name a few!
Here's a brief run down of what to expect in Humankind's October Patch:
Ability to tweak the abundance of strategic and luxury resources before starting a new game
Ability to randomise AI opponents before starting a new game
Better integration for your G2G persona, and mod.io
Colour selector for empires
End game conditions can be independently enabled oir disabled, including pollution and a truly endless turn timer (last empire standing)
Early and Late game cultural balancing: French, Khmer, Turks and more 'per-population' bonuses being reduced
Late game tech costs are going up, and stability generation is going down
Neolithic era adjustments to make unit spam less desirable and more difficult
A buff for mammoths, and scouts will have a small upkeep
Expansionist ability is being buffed, and era star requirements are being reduced
