Making a 3D Platformer in Unity - Player Follow Tutorial
In this video, you will learn how to make an enemy object that will follow your player. The first thing you need to do is to make a cube that will resemble an enemy. I have set this cube to be red colored, just by making a material and choosing the base color to red. You can also download the script files.

Nav Mesh in Unity is a required component for fighting games, action and RPG games, especially because it offers an accurate movement direction for players. It's a very simple Unity tutorial that can tell you which things you should do and which things you shouldn't do.
I can help you make a nav mesh agent in Unity, that will follow your player by using a component called AI. To ensure that you can use the plane as an AI object, you have to go Window / AI / Navigation and perform a Bake function that will "bake" the plane in order to become a place where enemies cannot leave. Baking is useful for navigation meshes and enemy management, because player can dodge them in order to escape. Certain enemies can travel inside only one area, making their navigation limited.
