DIY Heart Rate Monitor with Arduino and Pulse Sensor ( Part 1)
Hello guys, Welcome to Robocraze! Here, we make a DIY Heart Rate Monitor using a Pulse Sensor and interface it with an Arduino, which detects heartbeats in beats per minute (BPM). The sensor is quite simple and it takes little effort to set it up. All you need to do is to gently place your fingertip onto the sensor for a few seconds for the Arduino’s Serial Monitor to display the heart rate.

Pulse Sensor is a well-designed plug-and-play heart-rate sensor for Arduino. It can be used by
students, artists, athletes, makers, and game & mobile developers who want to easily incorporate live heartrate data into their projects.
Disclaimer: This is not an FDA approved sensor and hence it should not be used for medical applications or used in place of a certified heart rate sensor/device.
