Northeast Ohio weather forecast: Watching for aurora and rain chances
Your 6 p.m. Northeast Ohio weather forecast for Oct. 4, 2024: You may have been hearing about some Northern Lights possibilities lighting up the night sky.
Well, somewhere it will happen, but our chances are fairly slim. IF we're going to see it, the best chances will be WITH A PHONE OR CAMERA. They likely won't be visible to the naked eye.
The Space Prediction Center says that Saturday night has slightly better prospects. Keep an eye on social — folks will post if they do see the lights (and if you see them let others know!).
As for Saturday... during the day... it'll be great!
Otherwise, we keep an eye on an approaching front on Sunday that could bring rain chances our way. Notably fallish air will be with us next week.
