Roper St. Francis Healthcare offering free colon cancer screenings to uninsured, underinsured
Roper St. Francis Healthcare is proud to offer colon cancer screenings through the Hank and Laurel Greer Colorectal Cancer Program to those who do not have health insurance or whose insurance does not cover screening.
“Much of the population, especially the underinsured go on without screenings,” says Dr. Jorge Lagares-Garcia, Roper St. Francis Physician Partners Colorectal Surgery.
March is Colorectal Cancer Awareness Month and more than ever it is important to know the facts about the fourth-most-common cancer in the U.S. for both men and women.
