The basic layout of Pro Tools, the key windows you'll be using
Shortcuts -- One of the biggest keys to becoming efficient in Pro Tools. You don't need to know every single shortcut in existence, though. Also, you'll be able to see what shortcuts/modifier keys I'm using throughout the videos. (They pop up on the screen.) I'm using a Mac on these videos, but I explain the corresponding PC shortcuts, so if you use a PC, you won't be left out.
Basic Pro Tools file management
How it will help you: A clearer understanding of how Pro Tools is laid out and also how it handles files. A misunderstanding of file management can cause some annoying problems for you down the road.
The complete course is over 3 hours of streaming video. The videos cover all the essentials for using Pro Tools, and also apply to Pro Tools 10.
