By now you must have figured out that Im a HUGE 70's and 80's action movie fan... People ask me all the time what inspires my beats and my answer is always Death Wish... There is just something about those low key synth driven scores and blatant violence. What I love so much about the Akai MPC X / MPC X SE is how quickly you can take what you are visioning with your beats and make it a reality. Once you get down the work flow of the MPC hardware and how it works internally... there really is nothing this machine can't do.
