METAL GEAR SOLID V: GROUND ZEROES - How to unlock Crying Sturgeon for The Phantom Pain
Crying Sturgeon is one of the bonus Mother Base soldiers who can be transferred from Ground Zeroes to The Phantom Pain. However if you google him you'll notice the only information on him his pre-release lists of transferable content and a lot of players saying they didn't get him to the point where most people think he's glitched or was cut content.
The reality is that he's simply a tough one to find. He is in fact the soldier from the tank recreation scene who flies out onto the floor. Most people, myself included, probably assumed he was just a dead soldier but if you extract him by helicopter he's actually the only soldier on the map who gives the "Extracted Soldier" notification.
Upload your save data to Konami's severs and download it to The Phantom Pain, the elusive Crying Sturgeon should unlock when you beat mission 12 for the first time but if you've already passed that point just complete any other mission except for the tutorials.
