Baby American Robin Hatches and Takes it's First Meal from Mom. ❤️
At the beginning of this video you can see that the egg is still intact and mom keeps coming off the nest as if something is going on. At 2:42 we can see the egg beginning to crack open at one end. Finally at 11:15 we get our first glimpse of the hatchling as mom stands up revealing the baby. At 19:55 mom carries part of the shell away to clean up the nest and not draw attention from predators. Then at 28:08 we get to see the parents feeding the hatchling it's first meal. How exciting! The rest should hatch any moment now.
