HIGH PLAINS BUCK | AN ARCHERY MULE DEER FILM
Of all the big game species a hunter could pursue in western North America few place a spell over so many hunters like giant mule deer bucks. For Brad Brooks, nothing is more appealing to hunt than these cagey old monarchs of big wild landscapes, especially with bow and arrow.
Though he typically pursues mule deer bucks in the high and wild mountains of the western United States, last fall Brad headed north to Alberta to hunt them on the high prairies of the southeastern corner of this Canadian province. In this landscape, torn apart by countless coulees, mule deer bucks can grow to impressive size.
Follow along as Brad heads north to Canada to try to arrow a true giant of the high prairie and ragged coulees.
