Ackera Nugent wins big at Silesia Diamond League
In the women’s 100m hurdles final at the Silesia Diamond League on August 25, 2024, Ackera Nugent of Jamaica won with a meeting record time of 12.29 seconds, surpassing the previous record. Grace Stark from the USA finished in second place with a time of 12.37 seconds, followed closely by Danielle Williams, also from Jamaica, who took third with 12.38 seconds. Masai Russell from the USA, who had set the world lead earlier in the season, finished fourth with a time of 12.40 seconds. The race was run with a slight headwind of -0.5 m/s.
